student groups
The flats are let to groups of 3, 4 and 5 students although there are sometimes vacancies for individuals.
viewing days
Wednesday, 4th November 2009 at 1pm 2pm 3pm 4pm & 5pm. You may have a look round the flat that you have reserved.
registration
A group of students may register an interest in a flat at any time AFTER midnight on 4 November 2009. We will hold your interest for 72 hours until a holding deposit of £30 per student has been received at the LPN office at Cable Street.
The flat can then be formally reserved at any time up to close of business on 15 January 2010 by all the students signing a Lease. Any flats previously registered but not reserved by 15 January 2010 will be released and the £20 holding deposits forfeited.
Please note that Cable Street was fully booked by the end of November 2008 and Leases signed for all the flats by January 2009 for the current 2009/10 Academic Year.

lease & utilities payment agreement
Click here for a copy of the Tenancy Agreement which is for 50 weeks. This is a legally binding contract between LPN and all the students in a flat. This means that each student is jointly and severally liable for the other students actions and debts. If you are not sure or do not understand it we recommend that you take independent advice before
signing it.
payment
Payment can be made in any of the following ways:
- By cheque, debit or credit card, or cash in 3 equal instalments on 13 October 2010, 16 January 2011, 30 April 2011
- By Standing Order in 12 equal instalments on the 1 st of every month commencing 1 September 2009
- By one payment in advance by 17 October 2010 for which there will be 2 % discount.
utilities
All parties will also sign a Utilities Payment Agreement which is annexed to the Lease. An initial payment on account of £150 is to be made together with a further advance payment on account of £150 per student payable in 3 equal instalments on the same dates as the rent is due. The £30 flat holding deposit will be treated as part of the initial payment on account of £120 if the flat lease is signed on or before the due date.
