CABLE STREET?S STUDENTS
OPENING PARTY NIGHT
It is now becoming part of the Cable Street folk lore ? the Academic Year Opening Party Night! It started with some 250 students being led conga style to The Sugarhouse Nightclub at 8.00pm.
There just happened to be Bucking Bronco in part of the bar area which proved extremely popular and very amusing as the evening gathered momentum. Cable Street?s landlord and owner, John Sanderson, was literally dragged across the bar and forced to demonstrate his talents on the Bronco with hilarious results. By 2.00 am there were some extremely ?merry? students endeavouring to make their way home back to Cable Street. The night being made even more memorable as they didn?t have to pay for one drink throughout the whole night! How many Lancaster landlords would give 250 students a free bar in a Nightclub for 6 hours? Well it?s apparently just one of the perks of having LPN as a Landlord and living at Cable Street! |
